1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using VaultX, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use VaultX. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have the authority to do so.
3. Zero-knowledge model
VaultX uses client-side encryption. Files and private keys are encrypted on your device before upload. You are responsible for your password. If you lose it, we cannot recover your data.
4. Your responsibilities
- Keep your password secure.
- Do not use VaultX for illegal content or activities.
- Ensure your usage complies with your local laws.
- Do not attempt to attack, exploit, or reverse-engineer the system.
5. Service availability
VaultX is provided on a best-effort basis. We may update, change, or temporarily suspend parts of the service for maintenance or improvements.
6. Storage limits
Each account includes 10 GB of storage. Uploads beyond this limit are rejected. Storage limits may change in the future and will be communicated in advance.
7. Data deletion
You may delete files or your account at any time. Deleted data is removed from the server and cannot be recovered.
8. Prohibited content
You may not upload:
- Illegal content.
- Malware or harmful code.
- Content that violates intellectual property rights.
- Content intended to harass, exploit, or harm others.
9. Liability
VaultX is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uptime, data retention, or fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for data loss, including loss caused by forgotten passwords.
10. Changes to the terms
We may update these terms periodically. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use of VaultX means you accept the updated terms.
